the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea cordially invites you to the Korea-Canada
Investment Forum 2010
to be held on September
8, 2010 at Sheraton
Centre Toronto, Downtown Toronto.
The
Korea-Canada
Investment Forum 2010 is
expected to provide valuable information for companies interested in learning
about Korean market, spotting a new location to invest in, or in expanding or
relocating your business in Korea in Finance/VC, Auto-Parts, Aerospace Parts, Parts
Manufacturing, IT Component/Solutions, Industrial Chemicals,
Renewable Energy
and related industries.
The
conference will feature keynote speakers from Invest KOREA, Major Korean OEMs
(i.e. Hyundai/Kia, Samsung), 4 Korean major local governments
and Free Economic Zone(FEZ) each focusing on specific
industries, American
Chamber of Commerce Korea(AMCHAM),and from the Director
General for Cross-Border Investment from Ministry of Knowledge Economy
which governs South Korea’s policies and incentives relevant for Canadian
organizations.
From
Canadian government and associations, Minister Honorable Sandra Pupatello from
Ontario Ministry of Economic Development and Trade
andMr. Steve Rodgers, President of
Automotive Parts Manufacturers’ Association (APMA) will
provide welcoming speech. Other participating associations include Canadian
Wind Energy Association(CanWEA),
Ontario Sustainable Energy Association and Export Development Canada(EDC).
The
keynotes will not only focus on explaining business environment of South Korea
for target industries, but also on providing government strategies and policies
to support Canadian companies form strategic partnerships to seek joint
business opportunities both in North America and in Korea.
We
are hopeful that this event will play an important role as a catalyst to
actualize your business plans through the exchange of ideas and precise
information offered by Korea’s central and local governments.
